Maintenance tips
- Gold-plated brass jewelry (24K fine gold):
The gilding of 24K gold-plated jewelry is done by hand in Paris, ensuring excellent quality and durability. Nevertheless, to preserve the shine of your jewelry for as long as possible, follow these few tips:
- Remove your jewelry before sleeping, bathing, or playing sports.
Avoid applying perfumes or cosmetics to the skin in contact with the jewelry. (Their highly acidic composition will damage the gold plating.)
- Keep your jewelry away from moisture, if possible by storing it in a dry place such as a box or pouch.
- 925 Sterling Silver Jewelry:
Sterling silver (925) jewelry tends to tarnish and darken naturally over time; here are some tips to restore its shine:
- They are sensitive to moisture! So take them off before washing/bathing.
- Avoid perfumes and cosmetics that accelerate darkening.
- To clean them, use a soft cloth and if they are very dirty, wash them gently with soapy water or a little diluted toothpaste, and dry them well.
